FOUNDER'S STORY

It started in a damp, grey, and cold winter day in Liverpool, UK...

I lost track of my life, I wanted to quit school and I was very disoriented. I had a very hard time figuring out what do I want in life as a chemistry student alone in UK until a box of lipsticks pulled me back to reality. The lipsticks made my feel happy, excited. They also slowed me down and gave me time to reflect on my life. At that moment, I knew I wanted to create the things that make me feel whole. 

Fast forward to 2016...

After nearly 2 years of learning and prepping, I embarked on a journey to the United States to study Cosmetics Science. I never looked back. Since then, I've worked at leading haircare brands, cosmetics and CBD manufacturers. My formulation work can be found in Ulta Beauty, Target, WholeFoods, Walmart, and Niemen Marcus.  

Then It came 2020...

COVID-19 shut the world down. I moved, I met my soulmate, I moved again. I was busier than ever, I burnt out, and, I lost track of my life again. 

Then 2021...

After a series of moving and finally settling down, I've realized what is the most important thing for me ----Freedom. The creative freedom, the freedom to choose, and the freedom to look after myself and what I treasure. I decided to set myself free to finally operate my own lab full time after doing part-time formulation consulting since 2019.
